The amount of money spent in Sri Lanka depends on the individual. A typical student traveler can expect to spend AUS$750 for a month in expenses (including accommodation, food, transport and fees). If you travel in a group such expenses as accomodation and transport could be shared reducing the budget further. We encourage you to travel in small groups of 2 to 10 people. Best of all, costs will be a bear minimum, as Engage Lanka exist only as a service organization on the not-forprofit basis

Programme Dates

This is customizable though the main time periods are July and the Australian summer period. 

The length of stay is also up to the individual and can vary from 10days to a month or even longer.
